To say that 2020 was a big year is an understatement. Our last blog post reviewed some of the events that took place during the last twelve months. In spite of substantial challenges, we introduced quite a few new features and improvements to help you communicate securely with your clients.

During this time, it was gratifying to experience the deeply rooted determination of the Hushmail team and the camaraderie we’re fortunate to have at Hushmail. It’s true what they say about difficult times bringing out the best in us.

We expect 2021 to present its own challenges, and we feel confident about meeting them head on, always keeping the big picture in mind. Our Mission is to keep our customers’ data safe while building useful tools that make your life easier and more productive. We promise to keep working hard to fulfill that Mission. Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

Multi-party signatures

Next year, you’ll be able to request signatures from multiple signers on one document. This feature will be great for Consent to Treatment forms, Communication Policy forms, and any other forms that might require more than one signature. Don’t forget, our e-signatures have the same legal effect as handwritten ones, complying with both the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA)

Body charts

Early in 2021, you’ll be able to add images with pinpointing capabilities to your web forms. This feature is particularly useful for body charts that might be used by chiropractors, dentists, physical therapists, and other practitioners who would benefit from giving their clients the ability to visually pinpoint areas of pain or discomfort.

The practitioner can add their own images (or supplied stock images) to any form and turn on an option to let their clients add markers to the image.

The client will be able to add markers anyplace on the image by clicking on it.

Adding new members to our team

With so many exciting things coming up in 2021, we decided to expand our Customer Care team even more, as well as expand some of our other teams to help with product development. Keep an eye on our blog, where we’ll introduce the individuals who will be helping you get the most out of your Hushmail account.

2021 is going to be a big year

This is just a small glimpse into what’s ahead. We’re always working on improving, and we’re looking forward to a very exciting 2021.

Happy Holidays from the Hushmail family to yours!
